Top 50 Retailers of Consumer Electronics

16th issue of our Top 50 Consumer Electronics Retailers is out. 2020 and 2021 were strong years, as you'd expect, for retailers of consumer electronics. With COVID lockdowns forcing work-at-home and school-at-home, the need for computers, tablets, cell phones, monitors, TVs and many others soared. Our analysis of these product sales indicate that excess demand was created above the pre-COVID sales trend and many of these were purchases pulled forward from 2022 - 2024. The impact of pulling forward sales would have lowered expectations without the negative effects of red-hot inflation and continued supply issues. Add those influences in and the outlook is not too rosy.
